The final project, you will be expected to write a six to 8 page paper in which your own ideas on an ethical issue in business will be developed relative to the theories research you conduct.
Topics: 1. Fairness in hiring and promotions; employees’ rights and duties 2. The mommy track and glass ceiling 3. Sexual and/or gender harassment, gender identity, and sexual orientation 4. Affirmative action and equal employment opportunities 5. Corporate mergers and takeovers 6. Corporate responsibility to its employees’ culture or the place where it operates 7. Corporate responsibility to the environment These are the general areas within which to begin research; finished essays will need to be a good bit more focused and specific, and should discuss specific cases or examples in addition to presenting theoretical argumentation.
